Malayalam Actress: Vincy Sony Aloshious, a Malayalam actress, has accused a co-star of misbehaving on the set of the film while reportedly under the influence of drugs.
Actress Aloshious, who recently participated in an anti-drug awareness campaign, came under fire for declaring that she would not appear in films that starred drug users.
Following the conflicting reactions of online users to her statement, the actress posted a video on Instagram explaining that she had a bad experience with her co-star in her last movie, which was the reason she decided not to work with actors who were misusing drugs.
In a public statement, Aloshious said, “Some days back at an anti-drug campaign programme, I made a statement that I will not do movies again with people I know who use drugs. After this statement, there have been several comments. When I read those comments, I felt that I should clear certain things as to why I made such a statement. I am doing this video because I wanted to make my stand clear.” The ‘Rekha’ actress said that while under the influence of drugs, her male co-star misbehaved with her and her coworker.
Clarification about the Incident:
Aloshious explained her co-star’s inappropriate behavior without naming him, stating that he openly volunteered to accompany her to change her outfit when she had a problem with it during the movie. She stated that it was challenging for her to work on the movie because of the main actor’s inappropriate behavior.
She said, “When I was part of a movie, an artist, a main artist who held that movie, this was the experience I had from that artist. The artist used drugs and misbehaved with me and my colleague.” She said, “For example, when I had a problem with my dress, I went to correct it. He said,” I will also come and correct it for you. “He said this in front of everyone. It was very difficult to go ahead with the shoot.”
Drug Influence in Film Industry:
Apart from this, she explained how she understood the drug usage on the set. She told, “When we were practising a scene, he was spitting some kind of white powder onto the table. It was very evident that he was using drugs on the film set.” In the conclusion, she explained how the makers do not care about the other actors. They are just focused on how to complete the film as soon as possible. She confirmed this news through her Instagram page.
