The film also performed strongly on Netflix, where it stayed among the top trending titles nationwide. This added momentum to the demand for Akhanda 2 digital rights.

High Budget and Strategic Planning

Akhanda 2 is being made with a budget of over ₹150 crore. Producers Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta are backing the film under 14 Reels Plus banner. Balakrishna’s daughter Tejaswini is presenting the film. A large portion of the budget is expected to be recovered through OTT deals. The team is planning every step carefully to make the most of the hype.

The film promises powerful action sequences and intense drama. Boyapati Srinu is bringing back his signature mass style. Music director Thaman is composing for the film. Actor Aadhi Pinisetty plays the main villain. The makers have announced the release date as September 25, during the Dasara festival season.
