Fire breaks out on the set of Dhanush’s ‘Idli Kadai’

Dhanush is currently busy filming Idli Kadai. A large set was built in Anuppapatti village, located in the Theni district of Tamil Nadu, for the production of this film. However, a fire accidentally broke out on the set on Saturday. The crew members responded quickly and managed to extinguish the fire, preventing a major accident. In addition to “Idli Kadai,” Dhanush is also acting in “Kubera,” which is being directed by the talented Sekhar Kammula in Telugu, with Rashmika Mandanna as the leading actress.

He is also making his own directorial film titled Idli Kadai, in which Nithya Menon plays the lead role. The two previously worked together in the film Thiru, for which Nithya Menon won the National Award for Best Actress for her performance.

Originally, Idli Kadai was set to be released on April 10, with an official announcement from the makers. However, Dhanush recently announced a postponement of the release due to delays in shooting. He later revealed that the film is now scheduled to be released on October 1. Currently, Dhanush is busy shooting for Idli Kadai, with a large set constructed in the village of Anuppapatti in the Theni district of Tamil Nadu. Recently, a fire broke out on the set, but the unit members responded quickly and managed to extinguish the flames, averting a major disaster. Full details regarding the incident are still pending. The film is being produced collaboratively by Don Pictures, Red Giant Movies, and Wonder Bar Films, with Arun Vijay, Prakash Raj, and Shalini Pandey playing key roles.

Dhanush is currently starring in the Telugu film ‘Kubera,’ which is directed by the talented Sekhar Kammula. In this film, Rashmika Mandanna plays the lead female role, while Akkineni Nagarjuna takes on a significant supporting role. The initial looks and character posters released for the main characters have garnered a positive response. The filmmakers have announced that the movie will be released on June 20. Recently, the production team unveiled the lyrical song ‘Poyiraa Mama,’ which has been sung by Dhanush.
