Pahalgam Terror Attack: The terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, has shocked the entire country. In this attack, 28 tourists were killed and many others were injured. The gunmen targeted men, leaving behind children and women. US President Trump and Russian President Putin strongly condemned the incident. They expressed their deepest condolences to the victims. The attack has sparked panic in the Kashmir Valley. It has left a bloody tragedy in the green valley.

US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin have strongly condemned the terrorist attack in the Bysaran Valley, known as Mini Switzerland, in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir . Similarly, US Vice President JD Vance and his wife, who are on a visit to India, have also expressed their grief over the incident. The terrorists targeted tourists in Pahalgam and carried out this atrocity. It is known that at least 28 tourists were killed in the terrorist attack.

Donald Trump responds

Donald Trump, reacting to the Pahalgam terror attack, said that the incident deeply disturbed him. ‘I am deeply disturbed by the Kashmir incident. America stands with India against terrorism. I pray for the souls of those who died in the attack to rest in peace. May those injured recover quickly. We have our full support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of India,’ Trump posted on his own social media handle.

Putin says

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin also condemned the Pahalgam attack. “This heinous crime will not be tolerated. I hope that whoever is behind this attack will not escape punishment. We look forward to further enhancing our cooperation with India in combating terrorism. My deepest condolences to the families of those who died in this incident. I wish the injured a speedy recovery,” Putin said.

JD Vance expresses grief

US Vice President JD Vance and his wife, who are on a visit to India, expressed their grief over the incident. They described the attack as a devastating terrorist attack. “Usha and I express our condolences to the families of the victims of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India. For the past few days, we have been deeply touched by the beauty of this country and the love of Indians. We express our solidarity with the families of those who lost their lives in this horrific attack,” Vance responded to Prime Minister Modi’s tweet.

About 20+ killed

The Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) affiliate The Resistance Front (RF) attacked tourists who were on a holiday in the Baisaran Valley in Pahalgam, Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. At least 27 tourists were killed and 20 others were injured in the attack. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that this was the biggest terror attack in recent times. The incident has cast a shadow of sadness over Kashmir.
