Suriya46: Suriya Hints On Tollywood Project With Venky Atluri?

Suriya46: The highly anticipated Tamil movie star Suriya formally declared his next movie, Suriya46 as its working title. The first-time director who helmed the blockbuster film Lucky Baskhar will be directing this film. Sithara Entertainments production house producer Naga Vamsi will produce the movie. Suriya recently toured Hyderabad for his next movie Retro, and on this tour, it was finalized about the thriller project.

The Announcement

In a glowing press note, Suriya stated that he was thrilled over the project, “I am announcing it today. With blessings of Allu Arvind garu, I am joining the Sithara Entertainments crew along with my brother Venky. This would be my next Tamil venture, and I would be shooting largely in scenic Hyderabad. We are commencing the shoot from May onwards.” Suriya fans have kept their fingers crossed awaiting the news about his upcoming film and are ecstatic with the development.

Venky Atluri’s Vision

Venky Atluri, who gained acclaim for his directorial work in Lucky Baskhar, brings his unique storytelling style to Suriya46. His previous film, a gripping crime drama, followed the journey of a bank cashier navigating the world of scams to achieve financial success. The film was both a critical and commercial hit, raising expectations for his collaboration with Suriya.

Suriya’s Upcoming Projects

Before playing Suriya46, the actor will come with Karthik Subbaraj’s Retro. It’s a romantic action thriller and the film is about Paarivel Kannan, a man with a dark past, who keeps his dark past behind for someone’s sake. With Pooja Hegde, Joju George, and Jayaram among others playing important roles, Retro is already creating buzz.
