When Nagarjuna Was Fed Up with Nani and Thought of Throwing His Phone

Nagarjuna Was Fed Up with Nani:
A past comment by Telugu superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna about actor Nani has recently gone viral online. The remark was made during an interview where Nagarjuna talked about their time together on the set of their film Devadas.

Nagarjuna Was Fed Up with Nani:

Nagarjuna mentioned that Nani often used his mobile phone during the shoot, and this annoyed him. The video clip has now resurfaced and is gaining attention on social media. Fans are reacting with mixed opinions.

In the interview, Nagarjuna was asked how it was working with Nani in Devadas. The interviewer said that Nani was often seen using his phone on set. Responding to this, Nagarjuna said, “Since Nani is a hero, neither the director nor I could say anything to him. However, if it were someone else I would have taken the phone and thrown it away.”

Many in the film industry discourage using mobile phones during shooting. Phones can distract actors and may even cause leaks of important scenes. Directors like S.S. Rajamouli are very strict about this. He reportedly bans phones on the sets of his films, including the upcoming Mahesh Babu film SSMB29. Actors such as Ram Charan also follow this rule seriously.

Nagarjuna’s remark has started discussions online. Some fans agree with him, saying that actors should remain focused during filming. They believe using phones on set shows a lack of discipline. Others feel his comment was too harsh. They argue that actors are human too and deserve some freedom while working.

The topic has now sparked a debate about professionalism on film sets. While many agree that discipline is important, others say it’s unfair to single someone out for occasional phone use.

Nagarjuna’s comment, though old, has clearly caught the public’s attention again. Whether people agree with him or not, it has started an important conversation about work ethics in the film industry.
