Ajith Kumar’s much anticipated action comedy thriller Good Bad Ugly was initially slated for a grand theatrical debut during Pongal 2025. Now Producer Naveen Yerneni confirmed that Good Bad Ugly is reportedly out from Pongal 2025 race, Here’s why?

Good Bad Ugly producer Naveen Yerneni in a recent Pushpa 2 promotional Chennai event shared an update regarding the film.Naveen Yerneni of Mythri Movie Makers in a candid conversation revealed that Ajith Kumar’s film still has seven days of shooting remaining. He also said that while they have repeatedly stated a Pongal 2025 release, the movie might face a postponement, the final release date will be announced soon.

During his speech  at Pushpa promotional Chennai event Naveen Yerneni suddenly paused while discussing the release date, which have fueled speculations that the film release might be postponed. However, the makers are yet to finalize a release date, leaving fans to wait and see if the film will indeed be postponed from its initial Pongal 2025 schedule.

However, Naveen is confident in the film output, stating that their debut venture in Tamil cinema is poised to be a massive success. He promised to share an update regarding the film’s new release date soon.

Ajith Kumar starrer Good Bad Ugly is an action comedy film directed by Adhik Ravichandran and funded by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar and Suresh Chandra under the banner Mythri Movie Makers with an enormous budget of Rs 275 crores. The film stars Trisha Krishnan, Prabhu, Prasanna, Arjun Das, Sunil, Rahul Dev and Yogi Babu.

The film has music composed by  most happening Tamil music director G. V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography is handled by Abinadhan Ramanujam and editing by Vijay Velukutty. It is slated to be released on 10 January 2025, coinciding with the occasion of Pongal, in theatres, but now it is postponed.
