Amala Akkineni Applauds Samantha’s Emotional Speech

Samantha recently completed 15 years in the film industry. To celebrate this special milestone, Zee Telugu channel organized an award function to honor her successful career. A promo of the event was released showing Samantha’s speech and the applause she received from actress Amala Akkineni. Fans of both Samantha and Akkineni warmly appreciated this moment.

Samantha entered the film industry with the movie Yem Maya Chesave directed by Gautam Menon, which was released in 2010. Since then, she has completed 15 years of her acting journey. During the award ceremony called Apsara Awards 2025, many famous stars like Roja, Amala, director Sukumar, Ramyakrishna and Anil Ravipudi attended. Samantha received the award from actress Jayasudha and director Anil Ravipudi. The event ended with a grand cake-cutting celebration.
In her speech, Samantha expressed gratitude to the Telugu film industry, calling it her “karma bhoomi” or workplace. She promised that Telugu audiences will always be her first priority. But what caught everyone’s attention is that her ex mother-in-law Amala Akkineni appreciated her words by clapping and smiling, a moment that was well received by the audience.

At the same event, Amala Akkineni was also honored for her 30 years of work in animal welfare. She mentioned that her success is because of her strong team. Roja presented her the award, and during the event, Amala laughed when asked a funny question about who among Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, and Akhil is the most handsome.

After her separation from Naga Chaitanya, Samantha has focused more on her career. She is busy with movies and web series in Telugu and Hindi. She recently turned producer and successfully launched the film Shubham. Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya married Shobhitha Dhulipalla and also had a hit movie this year.
