Janhvi Kapoor skin care routine: Janhvi Kapoor has shared a simple and natural way to get glowing and hydrated skin without wearing makeup. When she has a meeting or event and wants to look fresh but doesn’t feel like putting on makeup, she follows an easy 3-step skincare routine. In a YouTube video shared by Khush Mag, Janhvi talked about these steps and explained how they help her feel confident and look radiant. This routine includes facial steaming, a homemade face mask inspired by her mother Sridevi, and almond oil.

Step 1: Facial Steaming

The first step in Janhvi’s routine is facial steaming. She begins by washing her face with normal tap water—no cleanser is needed. Then, she places her face over a bowl of hot water and covers her head and the bowl with a towel. She steams her face for about three minutes. This process opens up her pores and helps her skin feel clean and refreshed. Steaming helps remove dirt from the skin and makes it easier for the next steps to work more effectively.

Step 2: DIY Hydrating Face Mask

After steaming, Janhvi applies a homemade face mask. She learned this method partly from her late mother, the legendary actress Sridevi. She starts by taking a spoonful of curd (also known as yogurt) and prefers using the top creamy layer because it is very moisturizing. To this, she adds a little honey and mashed banana, which helps soften and nourish the skin. She mixes everything well and applies it to her face.


To make the mask more effective, Janhvi uses an orange. She cuts it in half, squeezes it slightly to release the juice, and gently rubs it over her face on top of the mask. The orange helps remove tanning and dead skin cells. She advises doing this step carefully to avoid any irritation, especially for sensitive skin. Janhvi mentioned that her mom taught her about the yogurt and honey, and she later added the banana and orange herself to improve the results.

Step 3: Almond Oil and Sunscreen

The final step in her routine is applying almond oil. Janhvi said she and her makeup artist Riviera Lynn discovered this trick. She takes a small amount of almond oil and gently dabs it under her eyes. According to her, it helps relax the skin and keeps the under-eye area moisturized. After applying the oil, she finishes her routine by putting on sunscreen to protect her skin from the sun.

This simple routine is a natural and effective way to take care of the skin without using any makeup. It helps Janhvi feel fresh, confident, and glowing. The ingredients are easy to find at home, making it a great option for anyone looking to improve their skincare using natural methods.
