Kathmandu: Beginning on June 1st, Air India Express will begin a new daily direct service between Bengaluru and Kathmandu, extending its number of short-haul international leisure routes. Every day, the nonstop flight will leave Bengaluru at 5:05 am and arrive back in Kathmandu at 9:05 am. The airline’s main website and other well-known travel websites are currently accepting reservations for the new route.

Xpress Lite and Xpress Value have initial prices of ₹8,000 and ₹8,500, respectively. In the press release, Air India said, “The new route builds on our recent expansion into short-haul international leisure destinations such as Bangkok and Phuket.”

One-Stop Locations:

The airline also revealed that the route will provide smooth one-stop connectivity from 20 Indian destinations, including Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Jaipur, Pune, Srinagar, and Visakhapatnam, to Kathmandu via Bengaluru. Additionally, two foreign locations, Abu Dhabi and Dammam, will have easy one-stop connections to Kathmandu via Bengaluru. Currently, Air India Express flies to 31 destinations straight from Bengaluru on more than 450 weekly flights.
