The advance bookings of the Allu Arjun starrer have opened from December 1st at midnight just 4 days before its release. Pushpa 2: The Rule has been on a list of most awaited releases despite the multiple setbacks. The advance bookings are riding high taking the records of all-time blockbuster hits like Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Yash’s KGF Chapter 2. Pushpa 2 has sold the most number of tickets in record time marking another milestone even before its release.
Within just 12 hours of advance bookings opening Allu Arjun starrer has sold out nearly 3 Lakhs tickets in just the first day. The reports suggest that Pushpa 2: The Rule made massive Rs 10 crore in just a record time of 12 hours. This was even faster than Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan which sold around 2 lakh tickets in the same period before its release in January 2023. Pushpa 2 also surpassed the Pan-Indian film KGF Chapter 2 starring Yash. In 2022 before its release the film sold out around 1.25 lakh tickets just for its Hindi dubbed version. Sockingly Pushpa 2 already collected more in Northern states than in Telugu-speaking states. The film made Rs 3 crore in Telugu and Rs 5.5 crore in Hindi showcasing its craze.
Prabhas’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has the highest advance bookings collected Rs 90 crore in 2017. This record has been untouched ever since. Another Pan Indan film KGF Chapter 2 has second highest advance booking collections with Rs 80 crore.
