Lawrence and Lokesh Kanagaraj:

Popular Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj is expanding his cinematic universe with a new movie titled Benz. The film stars Raghava Lawrence in the lead role and is being directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan. Lokesh is not directing this time but will serve as the producer of the film. He is giving his Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) a local touch and wider scale.

Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly will be seen playing the main villain in this action-packed movie. Nivin is well known for his performance in the Malayalam hit Premam. His intense look in Benz has already gone viral and reminded fans of Suriya’s ‘Rolex’ character from Vikram.

The film will feature three heroines. According to reports, Sanyukta Menon and Priyanka Arul Mohan have been finalized for two of the roles. Madonna Sebastian, who previously played Vijay’s sister in Leo, is also said to be returning in the same role in Benz, continuing the character’s journey within the LCU.

The movie is currently in the shooting stage. The makers plan to complete all post-production work and release it next year. Music for the film is composed by young sensation Sai Abhyankar.

With Benz, Lokesh Kanagaraj is set to bring together strong characters from his previous films into one thrilling storyline. This film shows how Indian directors are also creating interconnected cinematic universes like in Hollywood. Raghava Lawrence gets a powerful role, while Nivin Pauly’s villain character is already gaining attention. The presence of three heroines adds to the film’s appeal.
