Gold and silver lovers received good news today, June 28, 2025. The price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold dropped by ₹930, which is a big fall. This is great news for people who want to buy gold, especially during the wedding or festive season. Along with gold, the price of silver also went down slightly.

Gold and Silver Rates Today:

According to the Good Returns website, as of 6:30 AM today:

10 grams of 24-carat gold is priced at ₹98,010 in Hyderabad and Vijayawada.

10 grams of 22-carat gold costs ₹89,840.

Silver prices also saw a small decrease. One kilogram of silver dropped by ₹100. In Delhi, the rate for 1 kg silver is now ₹107,800. In Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Tirupati, and Chennai, the rate is higher at ₹117,800. Meanwhile, in cities like Mumbai, Pune, Vadodara, Bengaluru, Surat, and Nagpur, silver is priced at ₹107,800 per kg.

Why Did Prices Fall?

Experts say that the main reason behind the drop in gold and silver prices is the fall in global market prices. Also, the Indian rupee became stronger when compared to the US dollar. As a result, the demand for gold decreased. Economic conditions, both international and domestic, and US Federal Reserve policies have also affected prices.

Should You Buy Now?

Since prices keep changing every day, it’s wise to check current rates before making any decision. But for now, this price drop gives a good chance for investors and buyers to make gold or silver purchases.

Whether you’re buying for a wedding, festival, or investment, today’s rates are lower than usual, making it a smart time to shop.
