HiDeathon 2025: Thrilling days for Telangana’s youth minds! With pride and inspiration, Mr. Nikhil Chakravarthi J (I.A.A.S), Director of Industries, Govt. of Telangana, launched the poster of HiDeathon 2025 at a function held at the Directorate of Industries. He was joined by Mr. J Rajeshwar Reddy, Joint Director of Industries and Director of DEET, and dynamic DEET Wing officers.
This launch is not only a poster launch, but an invitation to action to all dreamers, coders, makers, and change-makers in the state!
HiDeathon 2025 is Telangana’s most buzzing innovation challenge – where your idea can win ₹1 Lakh and gain from mentorship, startup guidance, and business growth. It is hosted on the DEET platform, Telangana’s entrepreneurship and jobs portal.
The first step is free and simple: become a job seeker by registering. Once registered, participants can choose to join HiDeathon 2025 by submitting team details and innovative ideas. Participants who do not wish to join the ideathon can continue exploring job and internship opportunities on DEET.
Step 2: Shortlisting and Evaluation
Shortlisted teams would be approached and asked to accept or refuse. Only registration fee of ₹1,000 is charged from shortlisted teams that are through to the pitch presentation stage. Significantly, the registration fee is waived for specially challenged leader teams to make more inclusive and level playing field.

Step 3: The Pitch Round
Shortlisted teams will present their ideas online or offline. Grand finale participants will be shortlisted on the basis of maximum entries on the parameters of creativity, feasibility, and impact.
Step 4: Grand Finale at T-Hub on August 21
Top 25-30 shortlisted teams will present at the iconic T-Hub in Hyderabad. Top 3 teams receive ₹1 Lakh each and all finalists get startup registration support, mentorship, and industry visits.
