Power Cut in Hyderabad: Areas Affected and Timings for July 5, 2025

Power Cut in Hyderabad:On July 5, 2025, several areas in Hyderabad, including Banjara Hills and Madhapur, will experience power outages due to scheduled maintenance work. As per the official notification from the Assistant Electrical Engineer (AEE), the power cuts will occur in various regions under the jurisdiction of the Hyderabad Electric Distribution Company (HEDC).


Power Cut in Hyderabad:

The power outage is set to begin at 10 AM and will last until 1 PM. During this period, multiple areas, including the 11KV Ravindra Society and Jubilee Enclave feeders, will face disruptions. Additionally, the electricity department will cut power from 2 PM to 5 PM in other affected zones such as the 11KV Madhapur, Sri Chaitanya College, and Power Mech feeders.

The power outage is part of routine maintenance to upgrade the city’s power infrastructure. These scheduled power cuts will also affect other regions, including Greenlands, Begumpet Post Office, and various areas under different feeder sections. The maintenance work is crucial to ensure smooth power supply and to address existing issues in the power grid.


In areas like Uppal, the electricity department will cut power from 10 AM to 11:30 AM to prune trees and replace power lines. They request residents in the affected areas to cooperate with the maintenance teams.

What Affected Areas Should Expect:

Banjara Hills, Madhapur, and Jubilee Enclave: Expect power outages from 10 AM to 1 PM and from 2 PM to 5 PM.

Greenlands, Begumpet, and surrounding regions: Power interruptions will take place from 10 AM to 1 PM and from 2 PM to 5 PM.

Uppal and Malkajgiri: Scheduled power cuts due to line maintenance and repairs.

Officials advise residents to prepare in advance for the power cuts by completing essential tasks before the outages begin. This maintenance is essential for improving the city’s electrical infrastructure and ensuring uninterrupted power supply in the future.
