Elon Musk has made it official that his AI company xAI is launching the much-anticipated new language model, Grok 4, on July 9, 8 p.m. Pacific time (which translates to July 10, 8:30 a.m. IST). All this comes as a great buzz in the tech community, especially after past delays and doubts created by the earlier versions of the Grok series.

Grok 4 will be a part of what will become the next big step for xAI, which Musk founded to rival giants like OpenAI, Google DeepMind, and Anthropic. Musk took to X (formerly Twitter) as he announced the “Grok 4 will be going live tomorrow night. Major upgrade incoming.”
