Found 9 Months Too Late: What Really Happened to Pakistani Actor Humaira Asghar?

Pakistani actor Humaira Asghar Ali was discovered dead in her Karachi apartment on Tuesday. But shocking reports now reveal she actually died nine months ago, likely in October 2024. Her body was found in an advanced stage of decomposition, raising serious questions about how her death went unnoticed for so long.

Death Timeline Uncovered

According to Karachi Police Surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed, the state of Humaira’s remains suggests she had been dead for months. Investigators confirmed that her phone’s last activity was traced back to October 2024, and she had no social media presence since September. Her electricity was cut off that same month due to non-payment, and food inside her home had long expired.

One officer noted, “Her body is likely nine months old. She probably died between paying her last utility bill and the electricity being disconnected.” The lack of candles, dry water pipes, and rusted food jars painted a haunting picture of solitude.

No One Noticed

Humaira lived on a floor with only one other apartment, which was vacant. When neighbors returned months later in February, the smell had faded. A balcony door was left open, possibly helping to ventilate the odor, delaying discovery.

It was only when her landlord filed a complaint for unpaid rent that police forced entry and found her remains.

Family Refused to Claim Humaira Asghar Body

Initial reports revealed that Humaira’s family declined to claim her body. Her father refused, saying she had distanced herself from them years ago. But now, her brother Naveed Asghar has arrived in Karachi to perform her last rites. DNA testing was required before the body could be released, as decomposition made identification impossible.

Naveed stated, “We were shocked. She had not come home in over a year.” He also criticized the lack of investigation into the landlord’s involvement.
