IRCTC Launches 16 Special Trains:

In response to increasing demand from passengers, South Central Railway has announced the operation of 16 special weekly trains from different locations, including a highly anticipated service between Cherlapally and Tirupati. The railway department designed these trains to enhance convenience for travelers between Hyderabad and Tirupati.

From July 25 to August 15, four special trains will operate every Friday between Ernakulam and Patna, while from July 28 to August 18, four trains will run every Monday between Patna and Ernakulam. Additionally, starting August 3 until August 24, four trains will travel every Sunday between Tirupati and Cherlapally, with the return service operating every Monday between Cherlapally and Tirupati from August 4 to 25.

This initiative is expected to provide relief to passengers looking for a faster and more comfortable mode of travel during the peak season. The newly introduced trains will help reduce the burden on regular services and ensure better travel options for pilgrims and tourists heading to the popular religious and cultural destination of Tirupati.

Further improvements in the railway infrastructure are also underway. On Thursday, General Manager of South Central Railway, Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, visited the new railway manufacturing unit at Kazipet to monitor construction work. The project aims to speed up the production of trains and other necessary equipment.

With these changes, the railway department commits to improving passenger services and expanding rail networks to meet the region’s growing travel demand.
