Hyderabad Bonalu Traffic Diversions 2025: Traffic control measures have been put in place in the city for smooth flow of traffic while managing crowd during the Bonalu 2025 celebrations. The alterations mainly affect areas such as Amberpet, Chilkalguda, and Old City across July 20 and 21.
Between 6 a.m. on July 20 and 6 a.m. on July 22, there will be effective traffic diversions.
Uppal traffic going to Chaderghat or MGBS should take the Amberpet flyover.
GHMC ground underpass is to be used for parking by devotees.
Vehicles coming from Uppal and Ali Café would be diverted through D.D. Colony and Shivam Road during the peak time of heavy congestion.
Traffic restrictions will be observed along Katta Maisamma – Pochamma Temple entrance between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. on either day.
Traffic on Seethaphalmandi and Allugadabavi would be diverted to Warasiguda, Namalagundu, and Padmarao Nagar.
Restrictions will be in place between 1100 hours and 2300 hours for the processions within the Lal Darwaza Bonalu.
No vehicle shall go towards Lal Darwaza, Aliyabad, Gowlipura, Nagulchinta, and Charminar.
Traffic shall be diverted from Engine Bowli, Falaknuma, MBNR X Roads, and Kandikal Gate to Tadban, Misrigunj, Khilwat and Ramaswamy Gunj.
Complete closure between Madina X Roads to Engine Bowli via Gulzar Houz, Charminar and Himmatpura.

Parking zones include Alka Theatre, Arya Vyshya Mandir, VDP School Ground, and Charminar Bus Terminal.
RTC buses will terminate at Afzalgunj, Darulshifa X Roads, and Engine Bowli.
