Moreover, flowers do not bloom for hibiscus and rose plants.


 

However, this peel is good for hibiscus and rose plants as well as many other trees. Many people throw away these peels considering them useless. But, you can also make necessary fertilizers for plants with lemon skin. Lemon peels contain citric acid, vitamins, and many types of minerals. These help in making plants green and producing more flowers. The use of lemon peels also improves the quality of the soil. Let’s now learn how to use lemon peels.

 

What to mix with lemon peels?

You can make a special fertilizer by mixing baking soda with lemon skin. Baking soda is widely used in the kitchen. It works as a good fertilizer for hibiscus and rose plants. For this you mix baking soda with lemon peels. This mixture is very good for the plants. Moreover, it provides the necessary nutrients to the plants and makes them bloom well.

Fertilizer preparation method

* First, take some lemon peels and dry them well in the sun.
* Once the peels are completely dry, grind them in a mixer and make a fine powder.
* Take one teaspoon of lemon peel powder in a bowl and add one teaspoon of baking soda to it.
* Mix this mixture well.
* Now add this prepared fertilizer to the soil near the roots of hibiscus and rose plants.
* You can use this fertilizer once every 15-20 days.
* After applying the fertilizer, water the plants as required.

* Lemon peels contain essential nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, which are essential for healthy plant growth.
* Baking soda changes the pH level of the soil to slightly alkaline. This is beneficial for plants like roses and hibiscus.
* Baking soda has antifungal properties. It helps protect plants from fungal diseases.
* This fertilizer encourages plants to bloom more flowers. It also promotes the color of the flowers.
* Not only for hibiscus and rose plants.. Lemon peels can be used for various plants in two stages. Let’s find out how.

 

Stage-1

To make fertilizer from lemon peels, first take the peels. Now cut them into small pieces. You can also add vegetable peels and tea leaves to them. Now put lightly dried leaves or soil in a bucket. However, remember that there should be holes at the bottom of the bucket for air.

Stage-2

Then add lemon peels to the bucket. Also add green kitchen waste and dried leaves to this bucket. If this mixture is too dry, you can sprinkle light water on it. Mix this mixture well once in about 4–5 days. This will keep it aerated. Good quality compost manure will be ready in a month. Now this mixture can be poured on any plant.
