Thalaivan Thalaivii Sequel on Cards? Here’s What Vijay Sethupathi Said

Thalaivan Thalaivii Sequel on Cards? Here’s What Vijay Sethupathi Said

Thalaivan Thalaivii Sequel: With the buzz before the release of Sir Madam telugu version of Thalaivan Thalaivii, fans are already wondering whether there would be a sequel for that film. Starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen, the film is creating a stir by virtue of its new jodi and interesting storyline. Despondently in an interview, both lead actors gave some hope to the fans but stopped at giving a confirmation.

Vijay Sethupathi’s Spin

When asked about the possibility of a Thalaivan Thalaivii 2, Vijay Sethupathi smiled and replied, “First watch the first part. Then we will think about making the sequel. Me and Nithya Menen will talk to director Pandiraj.” His statement suggests that should the audience happen to accept the making of the first part, then they will certainly explore the option of continuing on with the story.

Nithya Menen on the Sequel Idea

In a similar vein to Vijay’s comments, Nithya Menen referenced that the sequel had already been lightly discussed among the group: “We all pitched each idea for the film,” she said, emphasizing that the story could hold the possibility for further development. While this does not confirm a second part, it expresses a sort of creative openness for expanding the narrative.

A Plot Seems Likely But Nothing Confirmed

A sequel appears to be more likely due to the good chemistry of the leads and the willingness of the team to revisit the story. However, both actors maintained that the ultimate determinant would lie within the audience’s response to the first part. Should Thalaivan Thalaivii do well, the team may press ahead with a second chapter.

Yet, till anything becomes official, all eyes will be glued to the cast. And with Vijay Sethupathi, Nithya Menen, and director Pandiraj expressing interest in a sequel. Hope can be afforded for this film’s future. Until then, just get behind the first film, and it may just happen that a sequel comes in very close order.
