Scheduled Power Cut on Aug 3:
Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has announced a scheduled power cut in Bengaluru on August 3, as part of a critical maintenance and line integration operation. This planned outage will involve the 66 kV power lines in the Sarjapur and Attibele regions. The power disruption will last from 6 AM to 8 PM on both August 2 and 3, affecting various localities across the city.
Areas Affected by the Power Cut
The outage will impact several neighborhoods under the 66/11 kV power supply lines, specifically in the Attibele and Anekal jurisdictions. The complete list of affected areas includes:
Under Attibele Jurisdiction: Yadavanahalli, Ichangur, Vaddarapalya, Attibele Industrial Area, Balagaranahalli, Manchanahalli, Attibele Town, Mayasandra, Dasanapura, Ballur, Kambalipura, Chikka Kanahalli, Indlabele, Harohalli.
Under Anekal Jurisdiction: Anekal Town, Kavalhosahalli, Gaurenahalli, Haldenahalli, Hompalaghatta, Chudenahalli, Honne Kalasapura, Karpooru, Byagadadenahalli, Kaada Agrahara, Chikkahagade, Doddahagade, Samanduru, Rachamanahalli, Guddnahalli, Aravantige Pura, P. Gollahalli, Telagara Halli, Vanakanahalli.
BESCOM has requested that residents prepare in advance for this power cut and take necessary precautions. The agency has assured that they are working diligently to complete the integration work and restore power as soon as possible to minimize inconvenience.
BESCOM’s Service Disruptions
Additionally, BESCOM has temporarily suspended its Any Time Payment (ATP) services starting from August 1, due to the expiration of the service contract. Customers can make payments using other channels, including BESCOM sub-division offices, Bangalore One centres, Karnataka One centres, UPI, and online portals.
