Aamir Khan and his production house officially denied rumours linking them to the distribution of Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s upcoming film Coolie. The statement confirms that Aamir is not distributing the film and hasn’t contacted any exhibitors or distributors. His appearance in Coolie is strictly a cameo, done out of his personal bond with the superstar and director.
Fans got excited when a poster revealed Aamir Khan’s look in Coolie. Introduced as Dahaa, Aamir appears rugged and intense, calmly puffing a pipe in a dark vest. Though it’s a brief role, his appearance sparked speculation that Dahaa may play a crucial part in the plot. The poster’s caption read: “A glimpse of Dahaa from the world of Coolie.”
Aamir recently hosted a private screening for the cast and crew of Coolie. Stars like Nagarjuna Akkineni, Sathyaraj, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Shruti Haasan attended. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, producer Kalanithi Maran, and music composer Anirudh Ravichander were also present. Sharing pictures from the event, Aamir Khan Productions captioned, “You say movie night, and your gang pulls up.”
