Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation has achieved a major milestone of operating 144 Vande Bharat Express services all over the country. More Regions Connectivity
The 144 services, at present, connect many states as a route connecting all major economic, cultural, and tourist hubs. These include metro corridors such as Delhi-Varanasi, Mumbai-Pune. And many promising new routes in the southern and northeastern states, thus knitting the nation together by overcoming distances and facilitating faster commuting.
Comfort and Safety
The Vande Bharat trains will be fitted with reclining seats, automatic doors, bio-vacuum toilets, GPS-based passenger information systems, and improved suspension for a smoother ride. This will also incorporate improved safety systems, including the Kavach collision avoidance technology.
