Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation has achieved a major milestone of operating 144 Vande Bharat Express services all over the country. The expansion of services is yet another significant milestone in the modernization of the rail network in India and enhancement of rail passenger experience under the government initiative. Vande Bharat Express is emerging as a semi-high-speed and comfort rail service that allows modern features. Unarguably, it is becoming the emerging symbol of the transformation of the Indian railways. The latest expansion will include more cities and regions to be served. By these up-market trains with a rapid travel time and better facilities on board.

More Regions Connectivity
The 144 services, at present, connect many states as a route connecting all major economic, cultural, and tourist hubs. These include metro corridors such as Delhi-Varanasi, Mumbai-Pune. And many promising new routes in the southern and northeastern states, thus knitting the nation together by overcoming distances and facilitating faster commuting.

Comfort and Safety
The Vande Bharat trains will be fitted with reclining seats, automatic doors, bio-vacuum toilets, GPS-based passenger information systems, and improved suspension for a smoother ride. This will also incorporate improved safety systems, including the Kavach collision avoidance technology.
