Allu Arjun ation sequel Pushpa 2 : The Rule breaks all time records in Indian Cinema as the film reportedly sold more than 18 million tickets amid the controversy.

Pushpa makers and leading booking platform Book My Show took to social media platforms and announced that the film sold 18 million plus tickets sold since the releases. Pushpa 2: The Rule was released worldwide on 5 December 2024 to mostly positive response from audience. Apart from the original Telugu language, it was released in the Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali and Malayalam languages.

The action sequel box office collection grosses Rs 1500 crore despite Allu Arjun’s fresh allegations in recent theater stampede case. Emerging as the highest-grossing Indian film of the year.

It is also the fastest Hindi film to hit the 600 crores mark and it collected Rs 679.65 crore crores nett in 18 days and records the highest collection on 2nd Tuesday for any Hindi film. It also beats Shah Rukh Khan’s action film Jawan Hindi lifetime net collections. Jawan lifetime Hindi collections Rs 585 crore and Pushpa 2 Hindi collections Rs 679.65 crores.

Hindi renowned production house Yash Raj Film penned a sweet note on Twitter account. They stated, Congratulations to the entire #Pushpa 2 The Rule team! While the Telugu version came in second, earning Rs 307.8 crore. The Tamil version came in third with a collection of Rs 54.05 crore. The film is reported to release in more than 12,000 screens worldwide.
