Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Attacked at Public Meet, Accused Nabbed

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta: Rekha Gupta, the chief minister of Delhi, was assaulted during a public hearing at her home this morning, and she is now in the hospital. During a “Jan sunwai,” a man who was reportedly in his 40s came up to the Chief Minister and assaulted her. At the public meeting, the attacker pretended to be a complainant and was apprehended by the Chief Minister’s security staff right away. He is currently being questioned. In order to safeguard the area, senior Delhi Police personnel have hurried to the Chief Minister’s home after she was taken to the hospital. Rajesh Sakaria, a native of Rajkot, Gujarat, has been identified as the attacker based on first information.

Weekly ‘Jan Sunwai’ meetings are held at the Chief Minister’s home to discuss public issues. “One person at the meeting attacked the Chief Minister,” stated senior BJP leader Harish Khurana.
