Special Trains for Diwali: According to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, 12,000 special trains will run over the Chhath and Diwali holidays. This announcement comes after he held discussions with the Bihar NDA leaders. He said that the ministry developed not only new trains but also several other plans and infrastructure projects following talks with state authorities regarding the people’s travel requirements.
For the convenience of general class passengers, the Minister said that four new Amrit Bharat trains will be introduced to link Delhi and Gaya, Saharsa and Amritsar, Chhapra and Delhi, as well as Muzaffarpur and Hyderabad. To discuss railway plans for the approaching Diwali and Chhath holidays, Bihar NDA leaders met with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in Delhi.
The Minister also clarified that under a new trial program, travelers who depart between October 13 and October 26 and return between November 17 and December 1 will receive confirmed tickets and a 20% return rate discount.

Vande Bharat between Purnea and Patna:
