Security Breach: A man scaled the wall and climbed a tree to enter Parliament House on Friday morning, committing a serious security breach. It happened at about 6:30 in the morning. According to officials, the intruder jumped over the wall from the Rail Bhavan side to approach the Garuda gate of the new Parliament building. The security guards have apprehended the invader. According to officials, he is being questioned.
The incident occurred the day after the Parliament’s monsoon session ended, marred by several interruptions that took precedence over legislative action. The Lok Sabha secretariat reports that during the month-long session that began on July 21, there were 21 sittings, totaling 37 hours and 7 minutes of productive work.

Last year, a man in his early 20s vaulted the Parliament wall and leaped inside the Annexe building premises, committing a similar security violation. A fictitious video of the incident also appeared, showing the armed CISF officers holding the suspect, who was dressed in shorts and a T-shirt. When the individual was frisked, nothing incriminating was discovered on him.
