School Holiday Tomorrow:

Several schools across India will close on August 25, 2025.The closure comes due to Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.Heavy rainfall has also disrupted daily life in certain regions.The District Disaster Management Authority in Jaipur announced a two-day school holiday.

The holiday covers August 25 and 26.

It applies to all schools in the district.

It also applies to Anganwadi centers.. This decision comes in response to heavy rainfall that has caused major disruptions across Rajasthan.

In Maharashtra, especially in Mumbai, schools are expected to remain closed on August 25 to observe the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. As it is a significant occasion in the state, both government and private schools will be closed. The celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi, a major festival in Maharashtra, will allow families to enjoy a three-day break, with the weekend adding to the holiday.

In Jammu, all schools in the Jammu division will also remain closed on August 25 due to adverse weather conditions. The authorities have issued a directive that all government and private schools in the region should remain closed on that day.

The heavy rains have impacted several other regions as well. In Uttar Pradesh, schools remain open without any state-wide closures. However, parents and students are advised to stay updated with local school administrations for any specific changes due to local weather conditions.

Karnataka’s coastal areas, including Udupi and Dakshina Kannada, are also facing heavy rainfall, which may lead to short-notice school closures. In contrast, other parts of the state expect schools to open as scheduled.
