Hindi Remake of Oppam: The shooting of Haiwaan, the Hindi remake of the film directed by Priyadarshan, is progressing in Kochi. Now, he has released an important update on the film. Mohanlal, who played Ramachan in the 2016 release Oppathil, will have a surprise guest appearance in Haiwaan, the Hindi remake of the film. Saif Ali Khan is playing the role played by Mohanlal in the Hindi version of the Malayalam superhit film.
Akshay Kumar is also in another important role. Priyadarshan clarified in an interview that the film is not an exact copy of Oppam. And that he has made some changes in the script and dialogues. Haiwaan is the film in which Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan will be together after 17 years. Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar are coming together in the remake of ‘Oppam’; Priyadarshan’s ‘Haiwaan’ has started.
Boman Irani is playing the role played by Nedumudi Venu in Oppathil in Hindi. Shriya Pilgaonka, Sharib Hashmi, Asrani, Saiyami Kher, and others are in the cast. Along with Priyadarshan, Haiwaan is being scripted by legendary Bollywood lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar. Javed Akhtar is teaming up with Priyadarshan for a film after 21 years.
Haiwaan is the 99th film directed by Priyadarshan, who has scored several superhits in Malayalam and Bollywood. He added that after this film, he will be directing his 100th film with Mohanlal and after that, he wants to retire from films.
