Nuke India-Kill Trump: According to a video on his since-deleted YouTube account, the gunman who killed two students Wednesday while shooting schoolchildren at a church service in the US city of Minneapolis had the words “kill Donald Trump” and “nuke India” scrawled on his weapons. The gunman, identified as 23-year-old Robin Westman, fired dozens of shots at the Annunciation Catholic School church while carrying a rifle, a shotgun, and a handgun. Westman later died from what authorities suspect to be a self-inflicted gunshot in the parking lot. According to court documents, Westman’s name was changed from Robert in 2020 because of her gender identity.

Site administrators removed the “Robin W” YouTube channel after it uploaded at least two videos. One ten-minute video, recorded on a cell phone, showed a stash of loaded magazines, firearms, and ammunition. The shooter had written slogans like “Burn Israel,” “Israel must fall,” “Kill Donald Trump,” and “Kill Trump now” on the publications. One gun carried the words “Nuke India.” The magazines bore phrases such as “for the children” and “where is your God?” and also displayed the names of previous school shooters, with some messages written in Cyrillic. Holding a smaller handgun from the stash, the individual said, “This one is for me. Just in case I need it.” The video also displayed a letter in which the shooter expressed regret for the impact of the attack on the victim’s family.

Second Video Details:

The nearly 20-minute second video on the channel showed two distinct journals. The first book, written in what appeared to be the Cyrillic alphabet, contained more than 150 pages. The second diary, entirely in Cyrillic, had over 60 pages and ended with an entry on August 21, 2025.

US Homeland Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed the video’s authenticity. She said the “deeply sick murderer scrawled” the phrases “For the Children,” “Where is your God?” and “Kill Donald Trump” on the rifle magazine. She also wrote on X, “This level of violence is unthinkable.”

National Wide Mourning:
According to officials, Westman acted alone, had no known criminal background, and lawfully bought the guns. As a show of sadness, President Donald Trump ordered the US flag to be flown at half-staff across the country. According to reports, the shooting at Annunciation Catholic School was the 146th such event to occur in the nation since January.
