Chiranjeevi Opens Up About Allu Kanakaratnamma’s Powerful Last Gift

Chiranjeevi About Allu Kanakaratnamma:

Megastar Chiranjeevi recently revealed a touching act of kindness by his late mother-in-law, Allu Kanakaratnamma, which has garnered widespread admiration. Kanakaratnamma, the wife of the late Allu Ramalingayya and mother of Allu Aravind, passed away on August 30, 2025. Her death has left the Allu family in deep mourning, with several Tollywood celebrities, including Chiranjeevi, paying their respects.

Chiranjeevi About Allu Kanakaratnamma:

During the latest media talk, Chiranjeevi shared an inspiring story. “This morning around 2 AM, we received the sad news of my mother-in-law’s passing. Allu Aravind was in Bangalore, and I immediately rushed to be with the family. At that moment, I remembered the conversation we had about organ donation. I called our blood bank technician and asked them to prepare for eye donation. They were ready and would send their team soon,” Chiranjeevi recalled.

He went on to explain that Kanakaratnamma had once expressed her desire to donate her organs. “I had asked her once if she would consider donating her organs, and she responded, ‘Once the body becomes ashes, why not give it away?’ While she had never formally signed up for organ donation, I felt this was a promise she made. I discussed it with Allu Aravind, and he agreed,” Chiranjeevi continued.

Thanks to this thoughtful decision, Kanakaratnamma’s eyes were donated to a hospital, potentially giving the gift of sight to others. Chiranjeevi shared the photo of the moment with the media, expressing his admiration for his mother-in-law’s selfless gesture.
