The film, produced by Wayfarer Films, owned by Dulquer Salmaan, was released on the 28th as an Onam release. The film, which came without much pre-release publicity, received the comment of a must-watch with the first show itself. What you see later at the box office is an amazing sight. The film’s collection has been increasing every day since its release. The third day, Saturday, is the best collection so far. It is indicated that today’s collection, which is Sunday, will go above that. The first screenings of the film in Kerala started at 6 am on Sunday. On Saturday, 275 late night shows were added to Kerala.
According to the figures of leading trackers, the net collection of the film in India on the first day was 2.7 crores. However, on the second day, Friday, it increased to 4 crores and on Saturday it increased to 7.25 crores (the figures so far). This means that the net collection in the first three days from India alone is more than 14 crores. Meanwhile, the film is also receiving a huge response in the foreign markets where it was released. It is reported that the film has crossed 35 crores at the global box office in the first three days. Trackers estimate that it will cross 50 crores on Sunday. The Telugu and Tamil language versions are also gaining audience attention. If these languages also get better collections, the lifetime box office of the film will be unpredictable.
