BSNL Extends ‘Freedom Plan’ Offer Till September 15

Freedom Plan: Bhartiya Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a state-owned telecom provider, announced on Monday that it had extended the deadline for its “Freedom Plan” by 15 days, to September 15.

According to a Ministry of Communications release, “BSNL is extending its ‘Freedom Plan’ by 15 days, in view of the overwhelming customer response.”

Launched on August 1, the package offers new activations of free 4G mobile services for 30 days at a token Re 1. Initially, the offer window was open for activations until August 31; however, it has since been extended until September 15.

Freedom Plan Benefits:
Benefits of the plans include a free SIM card, 2GB of high-speed 4G Internet per day, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited voice conversations (subject to terms and conditions). “BSNL has recently expanded the Atmanirbhar Bharat concept by deploying a state-of-the-art 4G mobile network that is Made in India throughout the nation. Customers can proudly test out our in-house 4G network with the Freedom Plan, which is completely free of service fees for the first 30 days, according to BSNL Chairman and Managing Director A. Robert J. Ravi. “We’re confident that the service quality, coverage, and the trust associated with the BSNL brand will encourage customers to stay with us well beyond the introductory period,” he stated.

How to avail this offer:
Customers who provide legitimate KYC documents to the closest BSNL customer service center can obtain the Freedom Plan. After completing your KYC and requesting the Freedom Plan SIM for just Rs 1, you may pick up your complimentary SIM. Your 30-day free advantages will start on the day of activation as soon as you insert the SIM and complete the activation procedure as instructed.

The state-run telecom giant, which was previously left on “ventilator support” by the previous UPA government, has now firmly re-established itself in the hearts of Indian consumers, according to Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, who earlier this year credited the PM Narendra Modi government’s strategic revival steps for pulling BSNL back from the precipice.
