Stock Market Insights: Nifty 50 Near Breakout, 9 Stocks to Watch

Stock Market Insights:

The Indian stock market closed the week on a positive note with the Nifty 50 index gaining 1.2% to end at 24,741. Strong macroeconomic indicators and GST reforms supported this growth. While FMCG stocks emerged as major gainers, IT stocks dragged the index. Mid-cap and small-cap shares, however, outperformed with gains of nearly 2.5%. Bank Nifty remained almost flat, closing at 54,114.

Stock Market Insights:

For Monday’s trade, analysts expect Nifty 50 to face resistance between 24,950 and 25,000. On the downside, support is likely in the 24,550–24,500 range. Experts believe that a clear breakout above resistance or below support could trigger a fresh directional move. For Bank Nifty, traders expect immediate resistance near 54,500–54,600.

The week ahead looks crucial as both domestic and global data releases are lined up. Investors will track India’s inflation numbers, along with updates on bank credit and forex reserves. Globally, US inflation data, jobless claims, and consumer sentiment reports will guide the Federal Reserve’s interest rate outlook.Any progress in the India–US trade deal could also boost investor sentiment.
