Dhanashree Verma is a choreographer and a social media influencer who finally broke the silence over long-standing suspicions. Regarding her split with Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. Their marriage was legally dissolved in March 2025. It was on these personal grounds that she admitted the reasons for their separation being personal differences and challenges within the family.

Dhanashree Verma Reveals Divorce Reason:

One issue, as has been reported by some of their friends, was whether or not the couple would relocate. While Chahal did not want to leave the family home in Haryana, Dhanashree stated she wished to move to Mumbai. This clash of principle is said to be the reason for their eventual separation.

Chahal, on the other hand, accepted in an interview that their relationship had been fragile for a long time. He said that demanding schedules and lack of quality time increased the emotional distance. Even though they were flaunting their relationship on social media, it suddenly dawned upon both that there was no turning back to their previous lives.

Post-divorce, Dhanashree has to face trolling from people online, some calling her a “gold digger.” While talking about the issue on Rise & Fall, she remarked: “He was my husband, I respected him even when I was married.” Furthermore, she said that she never answered negative things but preferred maintaining dignity than respond.

The dancer also talked about how painful it was for her family under public scrutiny due to their criticisms. Most importantly, at some point, her parents, particularly her mother, wanted her to come out of the marriage to their peace of mind.

Apart from this, Dhanashree has also given her strong rebuttal on the charge of disrespect. “Disrespect kar sakti thi, ” but I chose restraint.
