Pakistani National Living Illegally:
Hyderabad police have deported a Pakistani national who was living illegally in the city for several years. Officials confirmed that the man, identified as Mohammad Usman alias Md. Abbas Ikram (48), was sent back to Pakistan through the Attari border in Punjab on Wednesday after completing all legal procedures.
According to police reports, Mohammad Usman entered India illegally in 2011 through Nepal and had been staying in Hyderabad since then. His movements recently raised suspicion, and security agencies began closely monitoring him. When it was confirmed that he was living in the country without valid documents, he was taken into custody.
During investigations, officials found that Usman had four criminal cases registered against him in Hyderabad. He had also served five years in prison in India. After his release, police and central agencies coordinated with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of External Affairs to complete the deportation process.
On September 10, 2025, he was officially handed over to the Pakistan Rangers at the Attari border. Authorities said that strict vigilance was maintained throughout the process to ensure there were no security lapses.
Police stated that the case highlights how people entering the country illegally can pose a serious security risk. They assured that surveillance has been increased to prevent such incidents in the future. The Hyderabad City Police also urged citizens to remain alert and inform authorities if they come across any suspicious activities in their neighborhoods.
This deportation comes as part of the government’s larger effort to track and remove foreign nationals who are staying in India without proper documents. Officials confirmed that they are regularly reviewing such cases in coordination with central agencies.
The successful deportation of Mohammad Usman shows the combined efforts of local police, state officials, and central authorities in maintaining national security.
