Hyderabad Businessman:
A shocking murder took place in Hyderabad on Friday evening when a real estate businessman, Srikanth Reddy, aged 45, was stabbed to death in broad daylight. The incident happened at HB Colony in Moulali, leaving residents horrified.
According to the police, the main accused is Dhanraj, a resident of Lalapet, who had earlier worked under Srikanth. However, due to his drinking habits and misbehavior at work, Srikanth had removed him from the job around 20 days ago. This decision did not sit well with Dhanraj, who repeatedly visited Srikanth’s office demanding to be taken back.
On Friday afternoon, Dhanraj, along with his friend Daniel, met Srikanth at his office. Reports say they even took ₹1,200 from him to buy liquor. After drinking, both returned around 5:30 pm. Once again, Dhanraj insisted on getting his job back. Srikanth told him to come on Tuesday, but Dhanraj refused to wait. When Srikanth tried to leave the office, the two men followed him.
In a sudden attack, Daniel stabbed Srikanth with a knife, allegedly on the instructions of Dhanraj. The brutal assault took place right in front of the businessman’s office, shocking locals who witnessed the crime. After the attack, both accused fled the spot.
Locals quickly informed the police, and the Kushaiguda police team reached the location. Srikanth’s body was shifted for postmortem, and a case of murder was registered under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Authorities have launched a manhunt to track down the accused.
Speaking about the case, ACP Y Venkat Reddy stated that Srikanth had removed Dhanraj from his job because of his irresponsible behavior at work. However, the accused kept pressuring him for re-employment, which eventually led to the fatal confrontation.
This incident has left the community in shock, highlighting how workplace disputes can spiral into deadly violence. Many locals and netizens have expressed anger and demanded quick justice, with some calling for strict punishment for the culprits.
