Deepika Padukone – Kalki 2: In a major development that has sparked debate in the film industry, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has lost not one but two big-ticket Telugu projects alongside superstar Prabhas.

The producers of Kalki 2 officially announced that Deepika will not be part of the sequel. In their statement, Vyjayanthi Movies said, “After careful consideration, we have decided to part ways. Despite the long journey of making the first film, we were unable to find a partnership. A film like Kalki 2898 AD deserves that commitment and much more. We wish her the best with her future works.”

However, rumors indicate that Deepika has also withdrawn from the eagerly anticipated Spirit, starring Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga. According to industry rumors, she backed out because she couldn’t stick to the rigorous eight-hour shoot schedules. Now, speculation suggests that she left Kalki 2 for the same reason.

Kalki 2 Deepika Padukone Exit Real Reason: 

According to sources, the reason for Deepika Padukone’s exit from Kalki 2 is linked to a fee dispute. She initially agreed to one fee for the role, but after a few days of shooting, when she became irreplaceable, she allegedly demanded a higher fee, which did not match the terms agreed upon earlier. With those dates now canceled and an official announcement made, Deepika has reportedly given her Kalki 2 dates to filmmaker Atlee for his film with Allu Arjun.

With this news, all over social media there is huge negativity and anger over Deepika Padukone. Supporters contend that abandoning such significant projects casts doubt on her commitment levels and harms her reputation in the Telugu cinema industry. Some even claim that, at a time when Bollywood stars are increasingly making the transition, she has missed a fantastic chance to increase her visibility in South Indian cinema.
