Nagarjuna Confirms KING 100 After Coolie Success

After impressing fans with his villainous role in Coolie, Nagarjuna Akkineni is now ready to take on his 100th film as the lead. The veteran actor recently revealed on the ZEE Telugu show Jayammu Nischayammu Raa that the project, tentatively titled KING 100, has been in the works for over six months.


Nagarjuna described the film as a grand, action-packed family drama and shared that Tamil filmmaker Ra Karthik had narrated the story to him nearly a year ago.

Naga Chaitanya and Akhil May Join in Cameos

According to a report by 123 Telugu, Nagarjuna’s sons, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni, are likely to appear in cameo roles in KING100. The film would mark a rare on-screen reunion of the Akkineni trio, who last shared screen space in the cult-classic Manam. The same report also suggests that megastar Chiranjeevi will launch the film at an upcoming grand event, with several top names from the industry expected to attend.


KING 100 To Be Directed by Ra Karthik

Ra Karthik, known for his 2022 Tamil film Nitham Oru Vaanam, is directing KING100. The romantic drama received praise for its fresh storytelling, and fans are excited to see what Karthik brings to this milestone film. His collaboration with Nagarjuna is expected to blend mass appeal with emotional depth.

From Villain to Hero

Nagarjuna’s recent role as Simon Xavier in Coolie showcased his darker side. He played a smuggler opposite Rajinikanth’s rebel leader in a gripping face-off. With KING100, the actor returns to his heroic roots, promising fans a full-fledged action hero experience once again.
