Suriya, a star hero in Kollywood, is currently busy with multiple projects as both an actor and producer. Recently, he came into the news again—this time not for his films, but because of his security officer, Antony George Prabhu.

According to police reports, Sulochana, a maid who worked at Suriya’s house, along with her son, tricked the security officer. They promised him high returns if he invested money with them. Trusting their words, Antony initially transferred ₹1 lakh and later invested a total of ₹42 lakh over two months. When he realized the truth and demanded his money back, Sulochana and her family fled.

Police Action:

During the investigation, police found that the accused family had been involved in several fraud cases earlier. Recently, officials confirmed that the family has been arrested. The case has now gone viral on social media, and fans are waiting to see if actor Suriya will respond to the incident.

Suriya’s Upcoming Film

On the work front, Suriya is currently working on his 46th film, directed by Venky Atluri. The film is reportedly titled Vishwanathan and Sons. After completing a long schedule, the team is preparing for another schedule featuring large-scale action scenes. Suriya has also been practicing intense stunts for the movie.

The film’s pooja ceremony was held in Hyderabad in May 2025. Produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments, the movie stars Mamita Baiju as the female lead. Music is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, who expressed his excitement about teaming up with Venky Atluri again after Lucky Bhaskar, aiming for a successful hat-trick. The film is expected to release next year.
