Bus Boarding Points Changed Due To Heavy Traffic in Hyderabad

Bus Boarding Points Changed:
The festive season of Dasara has begun, and people are traveling in large numbers to their hometowns and villages. As a result, Hyderabad is witnessing a huge increase in traffic on major roads and highways. Bus stations, railway stations, and even private travel counters are crowded with passengers trying to catch their rides in time.

Bus Boarding Points Changed:

With thousands of people leaving the city, long traffic jams are being reported in areas like LB Nagar, Uppal, Kukatpally, and Aramghar. City police are also busy managing the situation and requesting citizens to plan their travel early to avoid delays.

Adding to the problem, heavy rains in the city have caused flooding at the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS), one of the biggest transport hubs in the state. Due to waterlogging, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has announced changes in boarding points for passengers’ safety.

According to the official notice, buses going towards Khammam and Vijayawada will now start from Dilsukhnagar Bus Station or LB Nagar. Passengers traveling towards Warangal should board at Uppal X Roads. Those heading to Karimnagar, Nizamabad, and Adilabad must use Jubilee Bus Station (JBS). Meanwhile, buses going to Mahaboobnagar and Kurnool will begin from Aramghar.

The TGSRTC has requested passengers to cooperate with the revised arrangements. Authorities said these steps were taken to ensure safety and smooth operations during the holiday rush. Officials also regretted the inconvenience but explained that shifting boarding points was necessary due to flooding.

Despite the challenges, the festive mood is high. Families are excited to reunite with their loved ones in villages and towns. Shops and markets in Hyderabad are also seeing brisk sales of sweets, clothes, and gifts, as people prepare for the celebrations.

Authorities have urged travelers to keep extra time for their journey, follow traffic updates, and remain patient. With everyone’s cooperation, the Dasara festival can be celebrated with joy and safety, even amidst heavy traffic and weather troubles.
