Mirage OTT Release: The Asif Ali–Aparna Balamurali starrer Mirage is still going strong with its theatrical run, and while it has already been quite popular among the masses, latest reports hint that it might be soon available on digital platforms, leaving fans excited to watch it from the comfort of their homes.
As per OTT Play, Mirage will begin streaming on SonyLIV from October 23rd. Yet, an official update from the makers or the platform is awaited. If that happens, the head-start digital release for the film will allow a broader viewership to enjoy its story-telling acumen so greatly appreciated by critics.
Mirage has not only gained attention due to its enthralling plot but also due to its talented cast and crew. The movie gets Asif Ali back together with reputed director Jeethu Joseph following their acclaimed collaboration in Kooman. The movie also reunites Asif Ali and National Award-winning actress Aparna Balamurali on-screen following their memorable on-screen encounter in Kishkindha Kaandam.
Along with them, some fine performances by Hakim Shahjahan, Deepak Parambol, Hannah Reji Koshy, and Sampath Raj enhance the overall ensemble.
Supported by Mukesh R. Mehta, Jatin M. Sethi, and C.V. Sarathi, the film is produced under the houses E for Experiments and Nath Studios, in association with Seven One Seven Productions and Bedtime Stories.
The technical team consists of cinematographer Satish Kurup, music composer Vishnu Shyam, and editor V.S. Vinayak. From art direction by Prashanth Madhav to sound design by Sinoy Joseph, the film has a solid creative team whose efforts have taken the project to greater heights.
As the audience waits for a confirmation of the OTT release from the makers, the hype surrounding Mirage keeps building up. If the said streaming date proves true, the movie will start attracting a new set of viewers on the web before too long and expand its audience beyond theaters and reaffirm the achievement of this Asif Ali–Jeethu Joseph collaboration.
