The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has started a new tagline contest to engage citizens in shaping its identity. The contest aims to highlight EPFO’s values of social security, trust, and empowerment. Through this initiative, people can contribute by suggesting a creative and meaningful tagline that reflects the organisation’s mission.

EPFO has joined hands with MyGov, a government platform, to collect entries from across the country. According to the official statement, the contest seeks to represent EPFO’s core goal of ensuring social security, empowering the workforce, and promoting financial safety for all its members.

The contest offers three cash prizes for the winners. The first prize winner will receive ₹21,000, the second prize winner will get ₹11,000, and the third prize winner will receive ₹5,100. Along with the cash rewards, all winners will also get a Certificate of Appreciation and an invitation to EPFO’s Foundation Day celebration at its Head Office. They will also receive second AC train fare and hotel accommodation for the event.

However, the EPFO has laid out certain rules for participants. The tagline must be written only in Hindi, and each person can send only one entry. The submission must truly represent EPFO’s vision of financial security and trust. Importantly, participants are not allowed to use AI tools like ChatGPT or GROK for generating taglines. Entries that are offensive or inappropriate will be rejected.

Citizens need to submit their entries only through the MyGov website. Any other mode of submission will not be accepted. So far, the contest has received over 7,500 entries, showing great enthusiasm from the public. EPFO has the right to use or promote any of the submitted taglines in future campaigns.

This creative competition gives every Indian a chance to contribute to a national institution that supports millions of workers. It’s a wonderful opportunity to combine creativity with social purpose.
