Once again, it will be Devgn stepping into the shoes of Vijay Salgaonkar. Interesting reports claim Hindi might opt not to follow Malayalam directly this time, suggesting that Hindi is far more informed about what its final act will look like.
If Paresh Rawal’s casting turns out to be true, then this could really turn everything upside-down. He is an actor capable of very intense moods but whose unpredictability might turn him into a total antagonist or into Vijay Salgaonkar’s morally ambiguous ally. The casting, by calling it “pivotal,” primes the reader to envisage a dramatic recalibration in story power and possibly some unforeseen moral dilemma or twist that might remain with the series forever.
