24 Hijras Attempt Suicide by Consuming Phenyl:

The victims are currently recovering at Maharaja Yashwant Rao Hospital. The hospital superintendent confirmed that the victims are out of danger and that doctors continue their treatment. It appears that the victims attempted mass suicide by drinking a floor-cleaning chemical.

Around 24 members of another group, frustrated with the harassment from Sapna Haji and her associates, reportedly attempted suicide by consuming phenyl at a camp in Nandalalpura.
