Real Estate Will Fall In Hyderabad? City Resident Shares Ground Reality

Real Estate Will Fall In Hyderabad? City Resident Shares Ground Reality

Hyderabad Real Estate: The main thing that Hyderabad is witnessing in its real estate market is tears in the belief of forever increasing values and guaranteed returns. But one of the residents, surely, has already put a crack in that illusion. By voicing his terrible experience on the net, he depicts a very serious situation of stagnant projects in the picture, empty towers, and failing ventures-the signs of what they call the ‘fall’ not coming-it’s already here.

Stalled Projects and Empty Towers

Big housing projects that once sweet-talking promised luxury and lifestyle suddenly found themselves only halfway through. For instance, the user cites Vasavi Ananda Nilayam near LB Nagar, which is said to comprise an 11-tower-at-least project containing more than 4,000 units-having reportedly been stalled for months now. Construction crews claim that work is ongoing, but with low occupancy and withdrawal of investors, it is crawling.

Newly built apartments are left unoccupied for years in residential areas. “Every lane has a few unsold flats with ‘For Sale’ boards,” writes the user, citing, among others, unrealistic prices of ₹1 crore and above, even for smaller units.

Bankruptcies, Auctions, and the Caving Ventures

Reports are that some developers have gone bankrupt and that their flats are also auctioned to the lowest bidder. Even the ones who managed to buy have legal problems, such as unregistered ownerships. This is one of the newest realities, as the user continues to rant about new real estate projects that collapse nearly every week, especially in LB Nagar and Saroornagar.

A City in Retreat

Real estate agents who once boasted about extravagantly expensive cars are now at the mercy of angry buyers clamouring for refunds. People have already begun moving back to their villages since they could not sell their homes. There are ‘To-Let’ boards and empty commercial spaces that speak for a stagnant rental market.

A Harsh Reality Check

For many, Hyderabad’s real estate boom was based on speculation and unrealistic expectations. “Let it tum,” concludes the user, for really overdue and needing market correction.
