Yash action thriller Toxic to hit big screens in December 2025

After the pan India blockbuster hit KGF: Chapter 2, Yash has begun filming for his next Pan-India feature, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups. On Monday, Yash revealed that he had a special surprise planned for his birthday, January 8. Yash took to his social media account and teased a Toxic movie update on his birthday, sharing the poster with the tagline “Unleashing Hi” so that we could expect an update from the makers.

Yash starrer is a period drama and the revolves around a drug cartel that operates from Goa. The action thriller is to have a fascinating tale that will highlight Yash’s outstanding performance and bloodshed action sequences making it one of the most anticipated Indian films of 2025. The star-studded cast of ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups includes Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Akshay Oberoi, Benedict Garrett, Kyle Paul , and Darrell D’Silva. It is scheduled to hit silver screens worldwide in December 2025

KGF actor is also gearing up for the filming of his highly awaited Bollywood debut film Ramayan directed by critically acclaimed filmaker Nitesh Tiwari. He is reportedly playing the role of Ravana , while Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Ram, and Sai Pallavi plays Sita . Namit Malhotra of Prime Focus Studios is funding the live-action adaptation of the Hindu epic with a staggering budget of Rs 835 crore for two parts , It is one of the most expensive Indian films of all the time.

Yash starrer Ramayan Part One is expected to hit theaters globally on Diwali 2026, while the second part will follow on Diwali 2027. With Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in lead roles, the film is expected to captivate audiences with its grand scale and storytelling, making it one of the most awaited releases in Indian cinema.
