Telangana Police Act Against YouTubers for Defaming HK Clinics

HK Permanent Makeup Clinics: The Cyberabad Police and Telangana High Court have taken strong action against a group of YouTubers and individuals accused of spreading false and defamatory content against HK Group, which runs HK Permanent Makeup Clinics and HK Hospitals in Hyderabad.

The case, registered under FIR No. 692/2025 at KPHB Police Station in June 2025, revealed a coordinated effort to malign the institution’s reputation. Digital evidence, including call records and online communications, confirmed that the allegations were part of an organized conspiracy.

The police identified Ms. Poornima Pinneti (Managing Director, Wellness of Women Pvt. Ltd.) as the chief conspirator, supported by YouTubers Mr. Siripuram Srinivas (Srinu 65), Mr. Anand Laveti, Mr. Arun Gunna (Zombie Revolt), Mr. Pavani Mahesh (MC Talks), software engineer Mr. Pawan Kumar (Pawan Ra Talks), and reporter Ms. Patricia Naidu. Acting under Pinneti’s direction, they produced and circulated misleading videos targeting HK Group and its directors. SHO Rajashekar Reddy confirmed that a charge sheet has been filed, stating the conspiracy was aimed at defaming HK Group through coordinated social media propaganda. The accused were charged under Sections 351, 352, 353, and 61 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Sections 66(D) and 67 of the IT Act, 2000.

In a parallel move, the Telangana High Court, in Writ Petition No. 15451 of 2025, ordered YouTube India and Meta to remove over 100 defamatory videos and directed the police to prevent further harassment. Legal experts hailed the action as a landmark in tackling digital defamation. The Court also reaffirmed that HK Group is fully licensed under the Telangana Allopathic Private Medical Care Establishments Act, the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, and holds a registered trademark.

Dr. G. Narasimha Rao Netha praised the authorities, noting HK Group’s ethical standards and advanced technologies. Directors Mrs. Ajmira Harshita Naik and Mr. Karthik thanked the police, judiciary, and supporters, emphasizing their commitment to patient safety and world-class healthcare. Advocate Nagurbabu highlighted the verdict as a strong precedent for law-abiding organizations facing online defamation.

With the court ruling and police action, HK Group’s reputation is fully restored, urging social media users to verify facts before posting content.
