KLOO App: Kerala startup launched a new smartphone application called the KLOO App, created by the start-up Frugal Scientific, which will soon allow travelers and the general public in Kerala to find the closest clean restroom. Kerala Loo is an app that intends to make sure that anyone can find a clean restroom wherever in the state, according to Local Self-Government Minister MB Rajesh, who announced the initiative on Facebook.

The initiative combines clean restrooms from public or private establishments, such as hotels and restaurants. Users may easily get real-time location information, operation hours, and cleanliness ratings via the app thanks to the integration of these amenities. Rajesh wrote, “This is a very helpful initiative for travelers.” “When nature calls, you don’t have to fight to find a clean spot anymore. Anywhere in Kerala, the KLOO App will direct you to the closest clean restroom.

The Kerala Hotel and Restaurant Association and Suchitwa Mission collaborated to build the app, which is a component of the ‘Malinyamuktam Navakeralam‘ (Waste-Free New Kerala) project. To support local businesses and hygiene, it also enables users to evaluate restrooms and browse extra information like restaurants in the area, specialties, and amenities provided by participating enterprises.

The KLOO App will soon be accessible on both iOS and Android devices. Later this month, registration will open for lodging facilities, dining enterprises, and other businesses with restrooms.
